RESPONSBILITIES:

 

General Ledger Jr. Accountant assists in preparation of monthly financial reports, closing the books on a monthly basis and reporting accurate financial results to the Sector’s headquarters on a timely basis. Provides information by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends of the financial results of the IT sector’s business units. Contributes to the General Ledger Shared Services department by identifying short and long range issues that must be addressed and recommends options and courses of action for a variety of complex problems. Maintains inter- and intradepartmental workflow by documenting and communicating processes and by fostering a spirit of cooperation. Achieves productivity increases for the General Ledger Shared Services organization by identifying breakdowns in processes and recommending courses of action. Builds and strengthens the department’s reputation by taking ownership for completing new and different requests, enhancing job knowledge and fulfilling the business unit customers’ needs. Focus on reconciliation of payroll accounts.

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

 

Five (5) years' required experience with Accountant. Education Level: Accounting Bachelor's degree.
