RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Ability to work in a team environment with outstanding oral and written communications skills. Must be able to summarize technical information clearly & concisely for the understanding of intended audience. Must be able to perform Configuration Management validation of technical information by analysis or interviewing subject matter experts. Good computer skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including, MS Word, MS Access, MS Excel, and MS Powerpoint. Produces documents and participates in reviews of draft technical documentation. Establishes standards and guidelines for technical document structure and format. Researches source data (i.e., contract, engineering drawings, and product configurations) and defines scope of technical documentation and required elements. Performs data management. Supports fact finding/negotiation efforts; investigates and resolves discrepancies or issues. Monitors documentation completion and budgets. Ensures data are technically accurate and adequate. Publishes and maintains completed documents. General ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Familiar with military standards and specifications.

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

 

Familiar with oracle based work flow manager, Technical Order Management System (TOMS), Arbortext SGML editor and Xyvison publishing system. computer skills required. Aircraft systems knowledge required.
