RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop actionable, executable architecture products that can be used by DoD and Federal customers for the purposes of practical decision making. The architectures will be used to make critical decisions regarding optimum system designs, investment strategies, and mission effectiveness of alternative designs. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements in hardware, software, and process specifications. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: The ability to do some C#/.NET, VBA, and HTML programming to develop specialized interfaces among System Architect and other commercial off-the-shelf software for the creation of customized products. Must be a self starter who works well with minimum guidance and short timelines. Experienced in the use of System Architect software and the development of architecture products using either the Federal Enterprise Architecture or DoD Architecture Framework methodologies. Minimum Experience: 2 – 5 years experience in information technology field. Must have experience with Telelogic System Architect and implementing EA methodologies and governance processes. Experience with C#/.NET, VBA, and HTML. Must have good communications skills both in writing and speaking, and be a self-starter capable of translating customer requirements into detailed plans and architectures. Desired Experience: Knowledge of most EA Frameworks such as DoDAF, FEA, Zachman. Experience with C/C++, Java, or VB/VB.Net along with development of requirements, design documentation, implementation code, and user guides. Understanding of networks. Experience with other EA tools such as IDS Scheer ARIS or Troux Metis a plus. Demonstrated leadership and customer interface skills will be a plus. Education Level: Computer Science Bachelors degree.
