RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Project Manager in the Information Technology area supporting Finance Transformation Program data management releases. The project manager's role is to mobilize and use wisely the organization's resources that are at his or her disposal to attain a specific objective: the successful completion of the project. He or she is responsible and accountable for the overall planning, execution, and control of the project. They are also responsible for Earned Value Management of projects as applicable. As well, the project manager has a direct responsibility for managing the delivery of the project, as defined in the project statement, e.g. ensuring that the solution is delivered on time, within budget, and with the quality required. Responsible to manage, track & provide weekly schedule status, variances, performance reporting, risk identification and mitigation, and issues.

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

 

Excellent analytical, and communication skills (both written and verbal) and be able to work in a virtual team environment. The ideal candidate for this role will be an individual with a solid project management background and working experience with Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence Projects. Candidate must have extensive experiences on P+/A+ projects. Prefer individuals who have knowledge of SEI/CMM, financial processes, and applications (i.e. Business Planning, Accounting, Revenue Management), and be conversant in database standards, security, methods, and tools. PMP certification preferred but not required.

 

MISCELLANEOUS:

 

Travel is required.
