RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

This position is for a systems engineer responsible for the design, installation, and review of technical data and certification of Cabin Systems equipment on all models of Aerospace airplanes. These systems consist of Passenger Address Systems, Cabin Interphones, Passenger Services, In-flight Entertainment (in-seat audio and video, overhead monitors, and video on demand systems), broadband off-board communications systems (including Connexion by Aerospace), and telephone systems.

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

 

This position is high visibility in an area that is under severe schedule constraints. The product that is installed changes slightly on each installation with large and complex integration of hardware and software. Some roles require coordination between the airplane customers and suppliers will cause moderate amounts of travel. People interested in the position should have experience with complex avionics or electrical systems and a strong background in the concepts of project management. The candidates will be expected to apply knowledge of electrical engineering and scientific principles to develop, design, analyze, test, and validate solutions for complex systems and sub-systems. Wireless and networking experience is a plus.

 

EDUCATION:

 

This job requires an engineering degree in either Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with typically 8 years experience. A Masters of Science would be a plus.

 

MISCELLANEOUS:

 

Travel is required.
