RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful applicant will define functional requirements for commercial aircraft powerplant control system & installation designs. Perform analysis, testing & coordination as required certify & support the in-service fleet. Coordinate the implementation of these requirements with other engineering groups, engine manufacturers, airline customers and the FAA. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Working knowledge of relevant Propulsion engineering processes & analysis methods. Able to work effectively in a team environment with other engineering/operations organizations, engine manufacturers, component suppliers, airline customers and regulatory agencies. Familiarity with Part 25 FAA certification processes. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. EDUCATION: A bachelor of science in engineering from an ABET accredited institution or equivalent is required and typically a minimum of 13 years experience in an engineering classification.
