RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible to manage, maintain and resolve data inaccuracies within the GOLD data system. Identify and develop process improvement to streamline GOLD functionality for Supply Support C17 Globemaster III Sustainment Partnership (GSP). Extract data from company systems and Air Force data systems, analyze, correct and format the data for use in other applications. Work with functional users to develop Web based tools to allow functional users the ability to access data or produce custom reports. Must work well in a team environment, self starter and capable of performing duties without close supervision. This person will be managing the input data loaded into an Oracle database and running MS Access queries against the Oracle tables in the GOLD system to create reports that are used by internal customers. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: In depth knowledge of Microsoft Access and/or SQL required, must be able to create Access queries. Strong people skills required for performing customer support and consulting services. Effective verbal and written communication skills for describing and documenting database analysis or enhancement requirements. Experience in developing and conducting training classes is highly preferred. Must have strong problem solving skills with a 'can do' attitude. Experience with government systems like Fed log, D043A and MILSTRIP a real plus. Needs database knowledge along with in-depth skill in Microsoft Access or Structured Query Language (SQL).
