RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

To support the Orion PEP electrical test equipment design efforts, to include detail hardware/software design and integration/debug of fully automated test equipment. This effort will require the development of all supporting documentation such as; Design Specifications, Test Requirements Document, Test S/W Documentation, Verification/Validation Test Plans and the User's Manual. Additionally tasks include working with the Electronics Packaging group, to perform the Electrical/Mechanical Packaging of the test console.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

BS in Electrical Engineering or related field, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in design/development and troubleshooting electrical test equipment. Familiar with automated test equipment, good written and verbal communications skills. Detail knowledge of LabView or LabWindows CVI test software development tools and VXI, PXI, MXI and GPIB test instruments a must.

 

MISCELLANEOUS:

 

The Orion PEP program has an immediate need for two senior Electrical Test Equipment Design/Development Engineers, for which our current staffing levels do not support. The project has recently been fully funded and was developed around a very aggressive schedule. Plans are to phase the temporary support out as resources with the specific skills needed become available from the J-2X program.
