RESPONSIBILITIES: Systems Engineer responsible for performing requirements development and management in the area C4ISR systems. Specific tasks include the analysis and development of requirements for the maintenance of a product baseline. Included in this effort are the requirements management aspects including allocation and traceability of requirements. Additional tasks include definition of high-level functional and performance requirements and verification methods, subsequent analysis, decomposition, and derivation of requirements, allocation of those lower-level requirements to physical and functional architectural elements, and tracking them through design, verification, integration, and operational validation. The systems engineer, representing the organization, will coordinate and collaborate with diverse engineering design teams to assist in managing the technical baseline in a CMMI-compliant enterprise. Duties must be performed at a high level with only general supervision and direction. 9/80 workweek. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Technical BS degree plus a minimum of 9 years' experience performing in a Systems Engineering or related technical discipline; demonstrated communication skills, technical writing skills, demonstrated proficiency in MS Office; minimum of 5 years' direct experience using the DOORS Requirements Management Database. Candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas: Communications/Data Link analysis & design; Computer Systems analysis & design; C2/ISR/Target Exploitation analysis; Radar Sensor modes. Must be able to work 9/80 workweek.
