RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Reviews, edits, and organizes document and briefing content using applicable MS Office Suite to achieve customer specifications and objectives. Develops, documents, and utilizes project-specific editing guidelines, complex style sheets, tools, and processes to achieve product requirements and integrity within cost and schedule objectives.

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

 

Edits and/or proofreads complex technical text and artwork (e.g., online, web-based, hard copy), conceptualizes and negotiates approaches to content structure and design to ensure effective communication and compliance with standards and guidelines. Identifies, applies, and enforces applicable standards (e.g., government, industry, customer, Client) to documentation ensuring product conformance and integrity. Interfaces with book bosses on an ongoing basis and coordinates with production services to ensure that the product meets its objectives, maintains focus, and to deliver the product successfully. Edits complex technical text (e.g., online, web-based, hard copy) applying appropriate writing styles and validating readability, functionality, and accuracy of the information to ensure consistency and clarity of communication; conceptualizes and negotiates approaches to content structure and design to ensure effective communication. Determines if content requires regulatory/security classification treatment, coordination, and/or approval.

 

MISCELLANEOUS:

 

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

 

WORK HOURS:

 

7:30-4:00
