Sales opportunity for a motivated Account Executive in its LAX office: Relevant Freight Forwarding/NVOCC experience is required, as well as a proven track record of successfully growing sales. Client is presently seeking outstanding talent to complement our growing family.

oThe primary objective of the Account Executive, is new business acquisition through the implementation of sales plans in line with company expectations.

oThis role will be responsible for leveraging personal and professional contacts to generate a substantial sales income.

oThis role will be part of a successful team, dedicated to building and protecting long term relationships as well as identifying new business opportunities within the logistics sector.

oCompetitive compensation package, including medical insurance, car allowance, etc.


Job Details:

oProfitably sell all logistics transportation services, including air and ocean import and export, drayage, warehousing and distribution, brokerage, insurance, etc.

oDevelop and maintain a book of business in the managed territory.

oContinually seek out new opportunities and review sales targets on a regular basis to ensure goals and budgets are met.

oPromote company name and services throughout the market, staying informed about rate actions and activities by the competition.

oRepresent the company in a professional manner during meetings and presentations; respond to requests for information and rates promptly and accurately.

oWork with other offices and departments as needed to establish SOPs and ensure smooth cargo handling.


Requirements:

oTrack record of success in an NVOCC/freight forwarding outside sales role.

oMust be able to identify and interact with key decision-makers in business to business environment

Become Familiar with client's varied logistics offerings and able to put together solutions to satisfy client requirements.

Organized, punctual, and computer savvy in order to track progress, create proposals and maintain regular communication with internal and external customers.

Knowledge in local So Cal Market/transpacific tradelane is essential.
