- Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Systems Engineers - Level 3 located in Dallas, TX
Client is seeking a Systems Engineer for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to provide system engineering design and analysis support for military programs. Duties include: Derive system requirements from reports provided by the customer. Allocate/decompose system requirements into subsystem specifications. Candidate will also be responsible for interface definition, including defining software interfaces between CSCIs. Experience integrating military subsystems such as INS/GPS subsystems and military communications radios is highly desired. SysML modeling in Rhapsody preferred. Resume must have clearance level included.
Experience with Requirements Development, Interface Development, or Architectural Design Must be proficient with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Good communication skills and ability to effectively work with manufacturers and other external part suppliers
Familiarity with military systems or related sub-systems such as INS/GPS or radios. Experience in documenting the system design through block diagrams, product structure, technical reports and similar. Experience in capturing and documenting interfaces at system and subsystem level. Experience in system analysis and decomposition. Experience working in a team, and working with suppliers. Experience with DOORs and Rhapsody or similar tools. Software requirements decomposition.
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
