RESPONSIBILITIES:
Instrumentation Design Engineer - An instrumentation design engineer is responsible to select/design sensors and transducers, cable interface assemblies, and data acquisition equipment for lab, ground, aircraft, and other test activities. The candidate will specify sensors such as microphones, accelerometers, strain gages, temperature sensors, load cells to meet program measurement requirements. The individual will be responsible for design of cable assemblies to interface sensors to data acquisition units.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Candidate should be familiar with data acquisition hardware and software configuration settings.
Familiarity with sensor integration to acquisition hardware required.
Must have ability to document sensor integration, data acquisition hardware, and data acquisition software settings clearly and concisely.
Candidate will work in a team environment, deriving and documenting instrumentation requirements and developing measurement solutions.
Ability to clearly communicate and exchange data with multidisciplinary teams required for success.
Candidate should have experience with CPLM drawing lifecycle process and be intimately familiar with navigating the release process.
Strong team leadership and organization skills required.
Candidate should have experience driving inexperienced design teams from the requirements gathering stage towards efficient execution and drawing package production release.
Level 4: 9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD.
Level 5:14 Years with Bachelors in Science; 12 Years with Masters; 9 Years with PhD.

EDUCATION:
Bachelors in Science.
