RESPONSIBILITIES:
This individual will assist system owning engineers with the selection, application and implementation of security controls on various network systems. This includes: interpreting cyber security requirements for inclusion in purchase documents and specifications as well as assisting in validating those requirements. Individual will design, test, and implement secure operating systems, networks, and database products. This will include conducting vulnerability and risk assessments, and providing recommendations for system design improvements.
Designs, tests, and implements state-of-the-art secure operating systems, networks, and database products. Conducts risk assessment and provides recommendations for application design. Involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access. Uses encryption technology, penetration and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies, and information technology security research. May prepare security reports to regulatory agencies.

Liaison: Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts. Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Candidate must have 5 Years relevant experience with Bachelors; 3 Years with Masters.
Candidates with Risk Management Framework (RMF) experience is a required.

EDUCATION:
Bachelors or Masters is required.

HOURS:
7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
