- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Payroll Administrator in Huntington Beach, CA to start and then relocate to Cypress, CA.
The primary responsibility of the Payroll Administrator is to process the time worked, attendance and employee deduction information in the payroll system. This job reports to the Payroll Manager or the Controller.
Summary of Duties:
Prepares payroll reports as needed
Responsible for processing time and attendance for transmittal for employee paychecks
Maintains employees and management trust and confidence and protects payroll confidentiality
Calculates and prepares paychecks
Assist employees with payroll related issues
Organizes and distribute payroll checks
Must protect and maintain the confidentiality of client information
Education: High school diploma with some college experience is preferred
Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience with payroll, payroll laws/rules and payroll systems, ADPvantage payroll experience is preferred
Computer Skills: Familiar with Windows Operating System®, Office XP®, and with MRP systems
Other Skills: Diligent and accurate, excellent customer service skills, ability to multi-task and willing to learn new tasks
