Description: Chipton-Ross is seeking an Office Administrator D located in Huntsville, AL

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is an exciting opportunity for a high performing professional to join our Client Team. This position is located in Huntsville, Alabama and reports to the BDS Development Vice President & Chief Engineer.
The successful candidate will have experience in supporting a broad range of diverse leaders, customers, and executives with effective communication skills and the ability to take appropriate action on behalf of executives and customers. In addition, a strong track record that demonstrates ability to prioritize actions and plans around key business objectives and distinguish between urgent and important is critical. This position also requires a strong skill set that bridges the daily business operations with a continuous stream of new requirements in an office environment of high volume.
The primary responsibilities for this position include:
oPlan and conduct administrative functions that enable the Chief Engineer office to conduct day-to-day business effectively and efficiently.
oCreate, edit and maintain electronic, written communication and presentations. Communicate a wide variety of information to multiple audiences.
oCoordinate and prepare senior leaders for meetings with customers and stakeholders, while coordinating with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.
oPlan and implement logistics for senior executive level internal and external events such as employee meetings, workshops, conferences, leadership events, and customer/supplier/consultant meetings.
oCoordinate travel logistics such as meetings, schedules and transportation between business sites for the executive throughout the entire trip, and as business commitments dictate.
oFoster a spirit of cooperation by working in a timely and efficient manner with other office administrators across BDS divisions and sites to accomplish goals. Provide guidance to junior-level office administrator team members.
oProactively coordinate and manage information to ensure the VP & Chief Engineer is informed of decisions and actions affecting program accomplishments.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
This position requires a professional with a strong work ethic and the ability to build a network of stakeholders and subject matter experts across Client. Experience in similar program offices and environments with Executives and customers/government entities. The successful candidate will be eager to learn and take on new challenges. Excellent communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and IT troubleshooting

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED and typically 7 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

A bachelor degree preferred.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift
8 AM - 5 PM
