Description: Chipton-Ross is seeking 3 Product Review Engineers located in New Orleans, LA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Applies technical knowledge of client design and/or engineering principles. Assesses and resolves product/process issues through the product lifecycle. Leads research of technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and designs interim and final engineering solutions. Co-leads others to analyze, conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for design non-conformances. Develops and implements product/process improvements. Uses innovative approaches and unique design applications to address complex nonconforming conditions and to detect deviations. Analyzes reported problems for potential safety issues; recommends and manages complex resolution in regards to product non-conformances. Leads develop of interim and final solutions. Provides design phase subject matter expertise by supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participating in design reviews. Represents the engineering community in the build through post production environment. Ensures design and build partner compliance with client and NASA standards. Develops correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of hardware and subassemblies . Co-leads activities for on-site product repair teams. Leads the structural repairs and integration efforts of the core stage space launch vehicle. Conducts Product Review analysis on Space flight hardware. Develops and leads engineering dispositions, procedures, tools and standards for repair of associated hardware. Ensures supplier and build partner compliance with client standards. Develops and implements technical training curriculum for internal or external customers.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

VARIABLE SHIFT
Employee may be required to work a 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift depending on management discretion.

TRAVEL: YES
Travel to Huntsville. AL may be required for final MRB authorization.

MISCELLANEOUS:
This work assignment has been designated as "safety-sensitive" by the Client. Contractors assigned to safety-sensitive jobs at the Client site must first complete regulatory pre-placement requirements prior to reporting to assignment. Additionally, contractors assigned to safety-sensitive work will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with federal mandates.
