Description:

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Administrator for an opening in Anaheim, CA.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager Aftermarket, the Project Administrator is responsible for administration and coordination of assigned projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Identify project/contract requirements.
2.Establish the project in MTO by completing the appropriate screens and fields with required Work Breakdown Structure.
3.Populate and update reports required to manage project.
4.Establish a rapport with the projects customer base and resolve their concerns and/or issues.
5.Monitor status and resolve project issues as project moves through production process.
6.Support the shipping and invoicing process.
7.Perform project close out tasks.
8.Issues budgetary data on new jobs to accounting and manufacturing.
9.Acts as a primary contact between the company and the customer, responsible for administration of customer contracts.
10.Attends weekly production meetings for coordination with all other departments to assure contractual requirements are met to the satisfaction of the contract (customer).
11.Determines and coordinates final shipping details.
12.Updates weekly backlog report.
13.Conducts weekly accounts payable/receivable meetings with Finance, as required.
14.Maintains close liaison with Finance for all open jobs/programs.
15.Performs other duties as assigned by the management.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
1. Understanding of/or aptitude for learning technical requirements for assigned area of responsibility.
2. Knowledge of basic contractual procedures and the ability to negotiate and administer contracts.
3. Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
4. Must be conversant in Microsoft Office and be versatile in e-mail communications.
5. Must be able to multi-task and organize.

• Absolutely must be detail oriented; must be meticulous and able to produce error-free work
• Government contracts administration experience
• Knowledge with computer systems
• Someone we can quickly train up to do the repetitive process/tasks associated with the position

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in related discipline from four-year college or university. Must have 2 to 4 years sales administration experience and/or training in electrical equipment or similar industry.

9/80, 1st Shift, Full-Time
