RESPONSIBILITIES:
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Administrator with Tanium experience to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is part of the Northrop Grumman's ETS Contract with the United States Postal Service, bringing top of the line professional technologists to their teams.
Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
o Design and implementation of Tanium endpoint software to a large enterprise environment.
o Conduct detailed analysis of software and patch status.
o Derive questions for polling endpoints.
o Report findings to upper level management with recommendations on how to correct issues.
o Create scripts as needed to ensure policy compliance with software and patch levels.
o Analyze reports and make recommendations for remediation.
o Play a lead role in meetings relating to specific technical projects or tasks.
o Participate in the preparation of materials and oral presentations for customers and management.
o May be required to mentor other team members.
o May be required to lead projects.
This position will be located in Raleigh, NC. This is an on-site position with no telecommute possibilities.
Prefer: Local to the Raleigh, NC area, this position does not provide relocation experience.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5 years of relevant experience. 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
o Experience with Tanium software - Other endpoint management software (i.e. Big Fix, SCCM) may be substituted.
o A thorough understanding of how applications install on the Microsoft Windows platforms.
o Strong proficiency in scripting language - Powershell and/or VB.
o Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Registry and ability to query or modify settings.
o Knowledge of MS operating systems (desktops and servers).
o Knowledge of Linux.
o Strong problem solving skills and goal driven.
o Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
Preferred Qualifications:
o Experience working in a large enterprise environment and networks.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

HOURS:
5/40 workweek. May be required to work off-shift, weekend and overtime hours.
