Description: Chipton-Ross is seeking an HR Coordinator for an opening in Northampton, MA.

Client employs a full spectrum of engineering and manufacturing disciplines to design and build sensor systems for submarines, surface ships, combat vehicles, and other defense platforms. Client is the US Navy's choice for submarine imaging and surface electro-optical gun directors. Client is entering its second century of business and has been part of many firsts dating back to its founding in 1916 when it designed the first submarine periscope for the United States Navy. Today, client has delivered and supported imaging systems on every operational US Navy submarine and many friendly navies throughout the world.
Located in a state of the art manufacturing facility in Northampton, MA, client prides itself as being a culture of continuous improvement. RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Assists with recruitment by coordinating applicant flow through the database (Taleo)
o Reviews resumes, conducts telephone pre-screen interviews with candidates, reviews qualifications with Recruiter and HR Business Partners.
o Tracks and maintains Taleo database for applicant flow.
o Schedules and coordinates interviews via Outlook
o Responsible for AAP reporting.
o Assists with new hire onboarding by creating HR personnel folders and files personnel and proprietary documents.
o Assists with social media recruiting efforts.
o Others duties as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
2 or more years of HR / Recruitment support experience in a similar environment.
o Taleo experience
o Expert in utilizing Outlook Calendar
o Organized and capable of meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities
o Maintains the highest level of integrity with personal and sensitive information
o Demonstrate a high degree of customer service orientation and business acumen
o Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o Attention to detail

Environment/Equipment Used:
- Normal Office Working Conditions
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook E-mail , SAP, Success Factors and LMS
- The use of safety equipment (PPE) is required in designated areas
Essential Physical Tasks:
- Must be able to sit or stand for up to nine hours
- Fine motor dexterity
- Hand-eye coordination
- Concentrated mental/visual demand

EDUCATION:
o BA / BS or relevant equivalence

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
