Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - Housing for an opening in Park City, UT.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Creating process planning and manufacturing instructions, including sketch sheets for housing manufacturing processes.
-Designing tools and fixtures
-Investigating root cause of rejections that occur during manufacturing
-Determining possible corrective actions to resolve the problem and eliminate repeat occurrences.
-Will have the authority to make decisions on and implement appropriate corrective action.
-Creating manufacturing instructions for assembly of housings and other aerospace components.
-Required to perform other tasks on occasion including auditing processes, inspecting hardware, travel, and participate in continuous improvement activities.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
-5 years complex 5-Axis manufacturing and or process planning experience
-3 years 3D modeling experience using Pro Engineer / CREO
-Must have housing inspection knowledge
-Must have housing manufacturing, process planning and Pro-E / CREO knowledge
-Familiarity with basic aerospace measuring tools
-Strong analytical skills
-Working knowledge of GD&T
-Basic Computer Skills: proficient with Microsoft Word & Excel etc
-Capable of effectively reading blueprints, specifications, and repair/overhaul manuals
-Self-motivated and driven

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
-Familiarity with aerospace standards a plus.
-Housing manufacturing a plus

EDUCATION:
-Bachelors in Manufacturing Engineering and / or equivalent experience.
