Description: Chipton-Ross is seeking a Mfg Support Coordinator - Solutions for an opening in Carlsbad, CA.

Daily batch records and work orders will be given with written instructions to perform solution and reagent preparation. Will perform work in accordance with production schedules and perform hands-on solution preparation tasks. Must possess basic mathematical skills and provide accurate data documentation. Must be able to adapt and be flexible to a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Under supervision, work in a timely and efficient manner to produce solutions for the Thermo Fisher Scientific facility in San Diego (eBioscience facility) and in Carlsbad. This position will eventually transition to only the Carlsbad facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare solutions for lab personnel via work orders or other requests. Submit completed work orders to appropriate personnel for review at the end of each day.
• Wash labware on a daily basis.
• Maintain cleanliness of the solutions lab on a daily basis.
• Maintain inventory of chemicals in solutions lab. Maintain inventory of solutions/reagents in the supported Manufacturing labs.
• Provide assistance to adjacent groups after daily duties have been achieved.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Learn and follow all departmental SOPs, guidelines, and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Zero to two years of professional experience in a related field, preferably manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
The Mfg Support Coordinator - Solutions should possess qualities in a variety of areas:
• Good communication (written and oral) skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Can learn quickly to navigate through laboratory database systems.
• Well organized, detail oriented and multitasking.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Highly motivated and dedicated individual.

EDUCATION:
High school diploma required, or general education degree, or one to three months related experience.
