Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Senior UNIX/Linux System Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is part of the Northrop Grumman's ETS Contract with the United States Postal Service, bringing top of the line professional technologists to their teams.
You will join the Midrange System Administration teams and provide UNIX / Linux System Administration services for an assigned set of US Postal Service applications. The scope includes the full range of system life-cycle phases including, Build, Application /Service Provisioning, Operations and Decommissioning.
Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
o Unix / Linux System Administration.
o Installation and maintenance of OS.
o Contributor to Incident, Problem and Change Management processes.
o User Support / Problem resolution.
This position will be located in Eagan, MN. This is an on-site position with no telecommute possibilities.
Prefer: Local to the Eagan, MN area, no relocation assistance provide.

o Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 6 years' relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
o Experience dealing with management of large (>1000 systems) environments.
o Experience with Linux (SuSE and Red Hat).
o Have some Experience with configuration management of large environments, utilizing automation tools such as: Chef, Puppet, Ansible or other configuration management frameworks.
o Expertise with custom AutoYaST and Kickstart deployments.
o Expertise with SMT and custom patch solutions for SuSE and Red Hat systems.
o Ability to take customer requirements and create scalable configuration models to support them.
o Process Implementation and documentation.
o Experience using Change/Incident Management tools (ServiceNow).
o Senior in Linux OS Administration.
o Ability to troubleshoot problems from the Application tier, through the OS and Network tiers.
o Unix Shell Scripting.
Preferred Qualifications:
o Expertise Ansible / Anisible Tower.
o Expertise with Cassandra.
o Expertise with Oracle CRS (installation/configuration/maintenance).
o Experience with Kafka.
o Experience with Hadoop.
o SOX/PCI Compliance Management.

Bachelor's Degree is required. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
