Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for an opening in Owego, NY.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in testing hardware products for the Electronic Warfare (EW) business area. Candidate will be responsible for the design, code and integration of test equipment software used to test Digital and RF/analog advanced state-of-the-art receivers, transmitters, antennas and EW systems. Work in hardware and product test labs to analyze, debug and integrate test equipment software. Primary SW languages are National Instruments TestStand and National Instruments Labwindows/CVI and ANSI C/C++. Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills are required. Applicant should have some experience with laboratory work testing hardware, including practical experience with network analyzers, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
C Programming Skills
o Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills are required.
o Must have work experience in the design, code and integration of test equipment software used to test Digital and RF/analog advanced state-of-the-art receivers, transmitters, antennas and EW systems.
o Must have work experience in performing analysis of test equipment and software to debug and integrate test equipment software.
o Demonstrated work experience in the following SW languages, National Instruments TestStand and National Instruments Labwindows/CVI and ANSI C/C++
o Applicant should have some experience with laboratory work testing hardware, including practical experience with network analyzers, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
National Instruments - Lab Windows/CVI Experience testing RF and digital hardware at the board, box and system level Experience with network analyzers, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, PXI chassis, signal generators

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
9/80, 1st Shift
Full-Time
