Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints. Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems. Coordinates integrated testing activities. Reviews and evaluates test requirements to insure completeness of test program. Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations. Occasional driving may be required.
Must have 2 Years relevant experience with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters.
The candidate should have an interest in working with computers and a reasonably strong IT background with a thorough understanding of basic computer hardware and Microsoft based operating systems.
The preferred candidate will have an Electrical engineering degree, electronics experience, and an interest working in office, shop, and shipboard environments.
The desire is that the applicant has some engineering experience in both shipboard and laboratory testing as well as instrumentation and automated data acquisition.
Experience with National Instruments' LabVIEW software is desired.
Experience with data reduction software such as MATLAB and National Instruments' DiaDEM software is also desired for this position.
Bachelors in Science; or Masters. The preferred candidate will have an Electrical engineering degree.
7:30AM to 4PM. Limited nights and weekends are expected during the preparations for, and conduct of, key events.
