Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer for an opening in Clearfield, UT.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will support mechanical analysis projects supporting aircraft weapon system programs. Specifically, the engineer will provide analyses, planning and draft documentation to address mechanical, electrical or avionics systems safety, suitability, and effectiveness requirements. The engineer will perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Subsystem Hazard Analysis, engineering and configuration analysis, and develop engineering technical requirements for aircraft mechanical, electrical or avionics system components. Tasks include but are not limited to engineering evaluation, analysis, and recommended disposition of technical assistance requests for aircraft mechanical, electrical or avionics systems. The engineer will use SolidWorks or other CAD programs to create 3D models of aircraft mechanical, electrical or avionics components. The engineer will develop and manage large MS Excel spreadsheets. The engineer will write technical reports detailing analyses in MS Word as well as Adobe Pro. This position may be tasked to support similar duties on various other USAF weapon systems.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Accredited Bachelor's Degree in a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering discipline from an accredited University with six (6) years of experience.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- AccreditedMaster's Degree in Engineering.
- Experience working on aircraft (Civilian/Military) mechanical, electrical, or avionics systems.

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
