- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Business Analyst for an opening in Plainsboro, NJ.
Collect, interpret, and package all data associated with financial reporting as well as the continuous improvement program. This includes information for business vitality, Green Belt projects, Lean methodology, Process Interrupters, and other data needed to track efficiency and progress for business optimization.
In addition, lead small scale projects as needed.
Ability to work on teams as well as autonomously
2+ years' data extracting and analysis
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of Lean tools preferred, but not mandatory (Kaizen, Value Steam Mapping, root cause analysis)
Drive for results and fundamental interest in process improvement
Effective communicator and ability to work across all levels and various parts of the business
Understand of general ledger / financial reporting.
Ability to process data and draw conclusions and understand trends in both financial and non-financial reporting.
Skilled in analyzing and reporting on a broad range of data - qualitative and quantitative
Basic project management skills
Ability to explain and understand data (both financial and non-financial).
Generate reports and customize as needed for the various business sectors
Ability to drive closure on projects - manage timelines and drive closure
Experience in Flavors, Pharmaceuticals, CPG a plus
Interest in Green Belt certification a plus, but not required
Highly Proficient with Microsoft Excel. Pivot Tables a plus
Knowledge of SAP and CRM a plus, but not required
Accredited Bachelor's in business, management or equivalent to fulfill the requirements of the role.
