Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for an opening in Hillsboro, OR.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop software for control of and interfacing with wafer dual-beam microscopes and the FIB optics part of the system.
Participate in the full software development life-cycle from inception to completion including requirements analysis, specification, design, implementation, and testing.
Add to and improve existing code to meet requirements for flexibility, new features, and maintainability.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Fluent in Visual Studio C++ on Windows platform, including difficult troubleshooting.
Discipline, pride, and professionalism writing readable, documented, and tested code.
Comfortable with large scale software development, SCM, Agile, test-driven development, bug tracking systems.
3+ years of experience with machine automation or developing software for hardware
Excellent interpersonal communications skills are required due to the high degree of interaction and collaboration across functional groups.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Physics background affiliation with optics
Microsoft .NET technologies C# , WPF/WCF.
Experience with multi-threaded programming.
Experience with vision, imaging or motion control.

EDUCATION:
Accredited University Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
