RESPONSIBILITIES:
Seeking an Engineer to work with a team of engineers responsible for the design and production of Ground Control Stations for the Triton program. The engineering team is made up of mechanical, electrical, software, and hardware engineers and they are subdivided into 3 teams: drawings, hardware design, and system production. These individuals and teams work together and get exposure to different fields. An Engineer is required as part of the production team to interface across multiple engineering disciplines including build, software installation, information assurance, and system test. The production team overseas the entire build and sell off of a Triton ground station from beginning to end. They work closely with manufacturing and quality to ensure everything is built to specs. Coordinate SW installation activity, coordinate information assurance with customer and security. The team must also coordinate and perform acceptance testing and final customer signoff.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace.
Manufacturing Engineering Experience.
Already having experience in multiple engineering disciplines is required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ideal candidate will have manufacturing engineering experience working in a production or assembly environment and working knowledge of common GSEG hardware such as servers, workstations, firewalls, and commercial cablings practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with electrical/electronic and mechanical hardware design, analysis, and production.
SolidWorks CAD 3D design plus full detail drawings, 2+ years of full-time experience.
Experience with communication systems including payload rack installations, equipment and operations, platform systems integration and ground and flight testing.
Familiarity with materials and finishes.
Familiarity with MIL-type connectors, cable design, and electrical analysis techniques.
Knowledge and understanding of computers and network systems.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Aerospace is required.

HOURS:
9/80 workweek
