- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electronics Engineer for an opening in Huntsville, AL.
Candidate will be responsible for supporting the design and overall system development of the operational (tactical) electrical subsystems for the PDV and the booster. Knowledge of flight avionics is desired. Engineer will also be responsible for support of systems engineering (compatibility analysis, FFMEA generation, specification development).
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering other related program degree from an accredited college/university. 2-5 years of Experience and working knowledge/background of Missiles, Re-entry Vehicles or spacecraft. Technical experience in avionic systems, flight termination systems, flight telemetry systems, instrumentation or computer-based ground support equipment. Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Oral and written communication skills and analytical skills. Needs to have the ability to convey technical data and concepts in concise messages and presentations. Ability to learn or have electronic troubleshooting skills. Experience with Test and Measurement Equipment. Occasional travel to US locations may be required.
