Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Network Engineer Level 4 for an opening in King of Prussia, PA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Service management and operations of the Enhanced Cybersecurity Services (ECS) system. This custom software solution will require quick spin up on how the system works, component integration between platform, network, storage, and firewall. - Oversee problem resolution reported by users or alerted by system health. Troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose problems at network, system, and application layers. Own root cause analysis, developing and selecting solutions, implementing solutions, and evaluating outcome. - Plans and supports major architectural and engineering changes with the system including platform and software upgrades driven by vendor EOL support, Program / customer enhancements, and custom software upgrades. - Primary interface to Gov't sponsor, peers, team members, and leadership. Responsible for delivery weekly activity reports, including change management requests, issues reported, metrics, future plans, and expected outages. - Accountable to maintaining government accreditation of the system including overseeing ISSO, ISSM, and physical security requirements.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
7 years of experience: - Scripting and programming experience (Bash, Powershell, Perl, Ruby, or Python) - Unix/Linux command line experience - Network engineering and administration - sendmail/postfix administration - 5 years or more technical team leadership experience - System administration on Linux, Windows, ESX / VSphere platforms - Firewall administration experience - 5 years of C Programming experience - 2 years or more responsibility for maintaining Gov't accreditation requirements or experience with re-accreditations - Knowledge of network protocols/technologies including SMTP, DNS, IPSEC, NAT. - Demonstrated knowledge of designing, maintaining and/or integrating complex information systems - Knowledge of DoD SCIF, lab, and network security policies and protocols -ability to work half time in a SCIF environment - Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated effective organizational and team building skills - Demonstrated experience developing and executing tactical objectives and strategic goals - Proven ability to build effective relationships - Demonstrated critical thinking skills, both qualitative and quantitative - Demonstrated thought leadership in the field of cyber security with the ability to deliver innovative solutions - IDS system management experience - Proficiency in developing and maintaining data analytics programs - Experience researching and developing host and network-based security technologies, machine learning algorithms, and detection methods

Accredited High School Diploma/GED
