- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Quality Engineer II/III for an opening in Tewksbury, MA.
Recommend and implement enhancements to the Quality Management System that results in improved quality performance, increased customer satisfaction, and process improvements.
Apply quality systems knowledge to successfully lead and manage our corrective and preventive action (CAPA) system
Actively participate in root cause analysis investigations across the business
Act as the lead auditor to develop agendas, training process, audit schedules, and generate findings reports by effectively implementing the internal audit program.
Assist with the maintenance of ISO registration and the external audit program
Provide Quality support to engineering and manufacturing organizations for new and sustaining products.
Participate in PPI (Practical Process Improvement) projects to support achievement of quality and business metrics.
Report monthly quality metrics and analyze trends
Assist in the writing and review of standard operating procedures (SOP) and train employees on requirements.
Investigate and respond to customer complaints
Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
3 to 5 years of applicable experience in engineering or science field in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 3 years as Quality Engineer
Previous problem-solving experience
Certified ISO auditor a plus
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Strong interpersonal, written, verbal skills and the ability to work collaboratively throughout the organization
Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead small scale projects while working independently
Accredited Bachelor's degree in engineering or the sciences or a closely related discipline
