Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Junior Recruiter for an opening in Long Beach, CA.

This position will interface closely with all Department Managers and Leadership. This role is for a hands-on person with great attention to detail and excellent people skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
oEstablishes recruiting requirements by working with recruiting teammates.
oBuilds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
oDetermines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
oAttracts applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.
oDetermines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
oEvaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Phone Skills, Recruiting, Qualifying, Interviewing, People Skills, Supports Diversity, Results Driven, Professionalism, Organization, Project Management

2 years experience in sourcing and recruiting candidates

Corporate in house recruiting is highly preferred (vs. agency recruiting)

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED, " Bachelor's degree is preferred
