Chipton-Ross is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer for an opening in Anaheim, CA.
Responsibilities include modeling and simulation of GPS based Navigation Systems Signal Processing for use in FPGA and ASIC design. Responsible for algorithm development, modeling, system simulation, implementation and verification with emphasis on military GPS receivers. The Principal-level engineer will participate in product development process including structured requirements and design reviews.
A minimum of 10 years' experience with GPS signals and digital signal processing.
Knowledge and experience with GNSS signals a major plus. Must have excellent math skills in developing algorithms, models and simulations (e.g. acquisition, tracking, and modulations).
MATLAB/Simulink experience required.
Must work well in a team environment, enjoy mentoring less experienced engineers, and be comfortable presenting ideas and concepts in front of small to large technical groups.
Must be comfortable working and progressing in changing environments.
Accredited Bachelor or Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline
