Chipton Ross is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer for an opening in Milledgeville, GA

Responsibilities
" assist in the planning, development, and incorporation of initial manufacturing concepts, tooling and equipment requirements for assigned projects.
" Perform continuous improvement of current manufacturing tooling, techniques, fabrication processes, and assembly operations for production operations.
" Provide technical assistance to Operations, Quality, and other Technical Operations disciplines to resolve tooling and manufacturing problems.
" Assist in the coordination and control engineering changes, and maintain effective liaison within department and with production.
" Assist in the review and approval of tool design models for accuracy and quality.
" Assist Technical Operations proposal effort including NR estimates and all technical data support required.

Requirements
Requires the ability to interrogate and modify tool designs for entire tool families utilizing CATIA V5, CATIA V4, and 2D engineering datasets.
Composite fabrication (bonding & assembly) experience is required.
May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule
5/40, Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift.
