- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Lead Cognitive Software Engineer for an opening in Camden, NJ.
Reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering, the lead cognitive software engineer will be responsible for the architecture, design, development, integration and test of mission software systems, particularly for cognitive and adaptive control software. S/he will perform system-level design activities, including requirements allocation, interface definition, system and subsystem integration, technical risk assessments, technical planning, verification and validation, and supportability and effectiveness analyses of total systems throughout the system lifecycle. Additionally, s/he will lead and mentor multi-disciplined engineering teams in the development and delivery of technical offerings; this team will be implementing mature engineering processes in line with current technology best practices, including agile software development.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering; A Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline is highly desired.
