Chipton-Ross is seeking a Missile Systems Engineer located in Huntsville, AL

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Missile Systems Engineer will provide customer support for an Army Lower Tier Project Office Air and Missile Defense program by applying knowledge of systems engineering methods and tools to assess and characterize missile system designs, technical products, and implementation processes. Candidate will evaluate system / operational needs to define missile performance requirements; assuring compatibility of physical, functional and program sub-systems / components; performing trade studies and analyses (e.g., affordability, safety, testability, systems integration, survivability, and vulnerability) to optimize performance. Candidate will support testing and analysis of missile performance, integrated into overall air and missile defense systems. Candidate will attend Integrated Product Team meetings, review contractor deliverables, such as Plastic Encapsulated Device (PED) Qualification and Solder Integrity test plans, and provide analysis to government customer. Candidate must possess the ability to communicate and interact with the government customer on a routine basis.

EDUCATION:
Accredited B.S. Degree in Engineering or Science related field with 12 years of experience is required.

Full-Time
