Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Test Engineer for an opening in San Jose, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
They will be responsible for verification and validation of new Instrument Control SW products. The position will require interaction various groups such as Software Development, Product Marketing and Testing.
Perform verification activities on software platforms in support of Client new product development. Work with Software Development and Product Marketing to evaluate requirements and to develop, execute and document all verification activities. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Hands on experience with analytical instruments and working in a Laboratory environment is a must 3-5 years experience with Liquid Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry is preferred.
Capacity to learn and understand analytical instruments, and software. Excellent written and verbal communications. Ability to plan and execute activities with a strong sense of urgency to deliver results. Strong ability to form relationships with stakeholders. Demonstrate Client values - Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement.

EDUCATION:
Accredited MS/Ph.D degree in Science (chemistry, biology or related discipline)
