Chipton-Ross is seeking a Device Connectivity Support Specialist for an opening in Carlsbad, CA.

The person in this role will execute a support/service strategy while providing an exceptional customer experience through best practices and standard operating procedures. Be the primary support for internal/external customers with instrument connectivity. Deliver high quality customer training and applications support. Monitor and support connectivity challenges. Follow SOPs to deliver consistent high quality support routinely. Identify, develop, maintain, and/or update standard operating procedures with guidance from the product management teams. Always ensure highest professional relationships with our customer base to achieve customer loyalty and escalates issues if necessary to solve critical tasks in the fastest way possible. Provide rapid and professional response to internal and external customer queries. Solves complex problems, takes new perspectives using existing solutions, be an active participant of the process calls, share ideas with teams/partners to improve processes. Proactively escalates issues that can potentially hamper the business processes. Utilize your knowledge in IT systems and security to work with customers of varying skill sets to establish connectivity.

2+ years in a Customer Support function (Customer Service, Tech Support, Field Services, etc). Degree in computer science, information systems, network systems, systems security or related field or equivalent work experience. Proficiency in scientific instrumentation strongly preferred. Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with team members and customers, and maintain effective working relationships on various levels. Strong problem solving skills. Demonstrated organizational skills; ability to handle multiple priorities.
