Description


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules and coordinates with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements. Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed. Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements. Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc.; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders.
Essential Functions:
Support program hardware and software procurement.
Work on Test & Evaluation Work Orders (TEWO's) and Engineering Fabrication Orders (EFO's) in support of mechanical and electrical fabrication tasks.
Develop detailed Bill of Material (BOM).
Look up pricing and gather quotes.
Enter items listed on engineering drawing's BOM into Engineering Property System (EPS).
Complete forms and waivers required for certain purchases, such as Single Sole Source Justification (SSJ), IT Waivers, and Chemical Review Surveys.
All hardware and software deliveries will need to align with the schedule of the IMS.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
Demonstrated experience using MS Office Suite, to include Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations.
Experience with business application tools.
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.

9/80 workweek
