Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking an Interface Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in McLean, VA. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Department of State (DOS) Consular Systems Modernization (CSM) Program, for the Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA). This initiative is intended to modernize and consolidate the operational environment under a common technology framework in order to better support the services provided to CA's customers.
The Interface Analyst is responsible for coordination and collaboration with the Solution Architecture Team and Agile Teams to provide effective implementation of the interface strategy for accessing external data sources. The position requires systems integration thinking and working knowledge of the full development life-cycle processes that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Conduct interface requirements analysis; develops and maintains interface control documents.
Reflect interface requirements as user stories to support Agile development.
Work with the Solution Architecture Team and Agile teams to determine the best approach ensure the overall software architecture supports the project Concept of Operations.
Create system models using model-based engineering approaches and SysML based tools and architecture artifacts to depict as-is and future views of the system interfaces.
Support Agile teams to ensure effective end-to-end capability threads are being implemented.
Work with numerous sources of data and from a variety of tools and platforms and designing effective and efficient strategies that facilitate the consumption of that data.

Bachelor's degree in a related field (computer science) and at least 5 years' relevant experience
At least 3 years of experience in software development and maintenance projects with involvement in interface requirements management, interface technical design/development and deployment steps within SDLC Background in Agile Software Development, specifically experience in developing detailed user stories to include precise and descriptive acceptance criteria.
Experience with employment of CONOPS for the development of system architectures and requirements that are optimized to meet the customer's operational needs at lowest cost.
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using tools that support Agile development (particulary SAFe) such as JIRA, Rally, VersionOne, Confluence Experience capturing interface requirements.
Experience in cloud based environments including deploying solutions on public/hybrid clouds. Experience with IBM Rational Collaborative Lifecycle Management Experience in developing and implementing machine learning and data analytics systems.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field is required.
