Description


RESPONSIBILITIES:
The selected candidate will become a member of a highly skilled team working in a dynamic environment. Will be responsible for "full cycle" software development of systems that will be used to verify and validate mission and vehicle systems prior to flight.
Key Responsibilities:
Design/implement/test/integrate/document Test Software Simulation Systems.
Analyze and interpret formal and informal customer requirements and generate corresponding lower level requirements that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Consult with customer stakeholders and present ideas in small group settings.
Create innovative technical design in compliance with established requirements.
Build high-quality, fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design.
Perform troubleshooting as required.
Perform multiple platform system integration: Windows and Linux.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 5 years of software engineering experience OR a Master's Degree plus 3 years of experience.
Experience with Object Oriented development of C++ or Python software.
Preferred Qualifications:
Has experience with:
- Languages: C/C++, Python.
- Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
- Has experience developing Web Applications.
- Has experience with Atlassian Tool Suite.
Has experience performing:
- Test Software Design, Implementation and Integration.
- Multi-platform, Multi-language System Integration.
- Designing / developing test automation scripts.
- Requirement interpretation / creation / management.
- Technical writing / presenting.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline OR Master's Degree is required.

HOURS:
9/80 workweek
