- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Employee Development Specialist 4 for an opening in Seattle, WA.
Functional Development organization is seeking an experienced, highly motivated individual to join our team as Learning Program Manager (LPM). The LPM role is a multifaceted role so the ideal candidate would have extensive knowledge and experience in learning architecture, learning program development and learning content curation combined with some experience in the Information Technology (IT) domain.
Primary responsibility for this position will be managing the health and readiness of IT learning programs, to ensure client learning content is aligned to the needs of the cleint business and is compliant with applicable government regulations and client (or industry) best practices. In addition, individual will be responsible for supporting the coordination and oversight in support of maintenance and release of learning content.
This is an individual contributor role within the Leadership, Learning, and Organizational Capability (LLOC) function in Human Resources and will report to the Sr. Manager of LLOC Functional Development.
The Learning Program Manager role draws upon skills from adult technical training; course development and evaluation; knowledge of the IT and data analytics industry; and Human Resources.
Analyzing existing learning content: Identifying required job skills and knowledge; map existing learning objects (including courses, exercises, learning programs, or exams) to the identified skills and knowledge; and document gaps and redundancies in the learning objects.
Curate learning content: Use IT domain and training knowledge to find learning objects; organize, rate, and recommend learning objects; work with other client organizations to manage licensing and copyrights for procuring learning objects.
Maintain learning objects: Monitor the quality of learning objects; identify objects requiring maintenance, replacement or inactivation; use course development software tools to make minor edits and corrections to existing learning content. Work with client groups to source more extensive change work packages to external suppliers.
Lead the development and maintenance of IT learning paths: Conduct role specification modeling, create curriculum architecture, conduct asset inventory, and create learning pathways.
Develop and implement plans to evaluate business impact of learning solutions. Identify programs to evaluate; collect evaluation data, analyze and synthesize data, report business impact; use business impact reports to guide decisions on curation.
Work collaboratively with teams and other LLOC Learning Program Managers and staff to bring learning solutions from concept to production release, including working with IT subject matter experts.
Knowledge and applicable work experience in IT, data analytics, digital literacy, cyber security, or involvement in digital transformation is highly recommended. A Bachelor degree is not required but is desirable. Prior classroom teaching experience and course development experience is required.

Accredited Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5+ years relevant experience with class-leading global organizations
