Description


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work to be performed includes the following: Verify and document compliance with Software Development Plan (SDP). Maintain and update Software Test Plan (STP) to include software development, acceptance, and qualification testing. Conduct the required inspections, analyses, demonstrations, and tests in accordance with the verification cross-reference index (VCRI) and provide the Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM). Execute software test readiness reviews (TRR), release integration testing, release regression testing, release build smoke testing, release dry run execution, release pre-qualification testing, and release qualification testing. Follow defined procedures to perform test setup and testing. Upon successful completion of all testing, complete software release documentation and generate a Qualification Test Report. The Qualification Test Report will contain identification of test articles, specific types of tests, test criteria, test results summary, test results, test anomalies, and other test data.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Must have 5 Years' experience in SW development lifecycle with Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline, 3 years of System Engineering experience with Masters; 0 Years with a PhD.
Software testing experience in a formal testing environment.
Hands-on system troubleshooting skills.
Experience with Microsoft Windows technologies.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience in mission planning or avionic Software Integration and Test.
Experience with Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) Framework (FW).
Experience with Air Force platform mission planning.
Experience with UNIX/Solaris.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Military aircraft mission planning experience to include weapon delivery planning.
Previous in-depth domain knowledge of program software engineering and the ability to create, augment and maintain automated test scripts.
Possess strong engineering skills.
Possess strong technical writing skills.
Possess strong communication and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements, streamline activities, and develop efficiencies.
Strong interpersonal and analytic skills.
Familiarity with problem reporting and resolution systems.
CompTIA Security+ certification.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline, Masters or PhD is required.

HOURS:
5/40 workweek
