Chipton-Ross is seeking a Mechanical Engineer located in Palmdale, CA.
Collaborate with other disciplines and stakeholders to determine interfaces and systems requirements
Incorporate design updates based on changes and redlines discovered during hardware integration.
Experience with Design, Analysis, Integration and Development of aircraft Hydraulic systems for a new military aircraft design. Initial sizing and layout of various subsystems with the aircraft using CATIA V5.
Experience with developing performance specification. Able to interface with manufacturing team to integrate hardware, troubleshoot integration issues, and make real-time design changes.
Experienced in installation and fabrication of new systems.
o Experience with Architecture of hydraulic systems
o CATIA V5 experience.
o Experience generating subsystem layouts and designs.
o MRB experience is a plus (e.g., identifying workarounds & resolving trouble tickets).
o Self-motivated and ability to work in a fast paced aircraft design environment.
o Experience leading small engineering teams
o Microsoft Office proficiency.
o Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Accredited BS+9-15 YRS or MS+7-13 YRS
