Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Project Management 3 / Operations Project Management (OPM). This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.
The OPM 3 will work within the Space Park Center of Excellence Facilities and Real Estate Organization, supporting Facilities engineering, planning and change management in all aspects of procurement and construction operations.
Essential Functions:
Work with Facilities Project Manager to develop requirements documents from information obtained from the program. (Collection from all sources; maintain updates and revisions; folder location consistency).
Change Management - Manage all changes requests that get presented to the change board ensuring impact mitigation, recovery and visibility, ensuring timely processing of all changes. Will conduct internal stakeholder reviews to ensure all stakeholder buying prior to formal change board.
Establishing, updating, and managing project schedules that roll up to an IMS.
Serves as a liaison between facilities organization, and the Program for executive status reports.
Meeting facilitator for status meetings, executive reviews and change board.
Assists in identifying project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
Tracking and reporting Project progress along with Project Risk and Opportunity visibility.

Bachelor's degree or Higher is required.
Must have 6 years of experience with project management in a construction management and/or facilities infrastructure role.
Proficient in MS Project.
Proficient in MS Office, including Power Point.
Ability to present to Higher Management including Directors and Vice Presidents.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working within an Integrated Product Team (IPT).
Experience integrating multiple MS Project schedules into an integrated whole.
Experience with manufacturing engineering and their interaction with associated tooling.
Lean Manufacturing principles and/or process improvement (Green Belt or Black Belt).
Experience with Risk Management, Return to Green (RTG) plans, and Scheduling cross functional activities.
Experience in Firm Fixed Price contracts and earned value management knowledge.

Bachelor's degree or Higher is required.
School must be accredited.
