- Chipton Ross is seeking a Assembler Level 2 in Oldsmar, FL.
o Using pre-assembled frames; assemble components, wiring harnesses, power supplies, etc. on a flow line
o Work in a team environment
o Fasten sub assembly parts using appropriate pneumatic and manual tools, jigs, and fixtures
o Install electrical components (motors, switches, etc.), sub-assemblies and color-coded wiring following prescribed wiring diagrams
o Must be able to read and understand electronic work instructions, wire tabs, and sketches
o Must have an excellent understanding of the importance of team work needed on an assembly line and be able to communicate well with others to ensure proper flow of the line. this is for 1st shift
o 4- 5 years' experience in subassemblies according to IPC620.
o Must have experience in production flow lines or single piece flow
o Must be able to solder
o Must have good manual dexterity
o Strong mechanical build experience accurately interpreting written work instruction, drawings, sketches, and wiring diagrams.
o Experienced with working in an Electro Static Discharge (ESD) environment
o Experienced with working with hand tools used in the assembly of cables and subassemblies like stripper and crimpers and various other types of tools
o Knowledge of cable termination including familiarity with crimping specifications and use of both automated and hand crimping tools
o Good written and oral communication skills to work as a team on an assembly line
o Good computer skills with ability to work from electronic work instructions
o Must be able to work 6am 330pm
o IPC620 Certified IPC Specialist
o Knowledge of flow line assembly
