Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Stockroom Attendant for an opening in Ayer, MA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direction of the supervisor, responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks associated with receiving, shipping, storing, issuing, and handling inventory and non-inventory material. Duties include, but are not limited to receiving and shipping material from/to suppliers and customers, kitting, locating, storing, packing, crating, internal material movement and handling, cycle counting, and physical inventories, with an emphasis on maintaining accuracy and integrity in all transactions and inventory record balances. Also responsible for maintaining clean, organized and functional work area at all times. Must comply with all ISO, Safety, ESD, and company policies and procedures.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Must be able to lift packages and material up to 25 lbs. regularly. Packages and material weighing more than 25lbs. will require two or more persons to lift. Position requires manual dexterity and good visual ability.
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a warehouse or stockroom environment, in a manufacturing MRP/ERP environment. Must be able to work on company ERP/MRP system, with limited training. The ability to use non-motorized material handling equipment is required. May be required to use motorized or special material handling equipment and/or tools. Must be able to read, maintain and work from instructions, procedures, and documentation.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED, Post high school education desirable
