Responsible for close-out documents for overhead and capital improvement construction projects and programs. This individual will be responsible for supporting management with collecting, compiling, configuring and archiving of construction closeout documents. Manages, updates, and maintains databases for close-out documents.
Requests, gathers and identifies closeout deliverables from contractors. Executes directed tasks to meet identified closeout requirements and checklists
Maintains and retrieves contract documents as needed. Checks submitted documents for completeness and compliance with company standards, procedures and contract requirements.
Researches contractor information and updates spreadsheet logs to keep information accurate and current. Researches, formulates and inputs data into database.
Maintains closeout log to ensure receipt of closeout materials and deliverables and follow up on any outstanding issues and the collection of missing documents.
Audits files and updates status report spreadsheets. Reporting on closeout status to Aerospace Management as requested.
Reviews requests for final payments submitted by design professional consultants and construction contractors and forwards with recommendations to Aerospace Management.
Performs related duties as assigned.

Must have two years of related experience in business/general office environment as an administration assistant, or building construction in capacity such as clerk of the works.
Proficient computer skills including the ability to utilize spreadsheet and database programs
Familiarity with filing and archiving standards and protocols.
Knowledge of basic business and protocols.
Preferred experience:
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Critical decision-making skills related to assembly of closeout packages and assembling organized files.
Communicate professionally in a clear and concise manner (verbal / written / reporting / presentation skills).
Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships.
Must work well in a team environment and with internal staff and managers and outside vendors.
Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (and the ability to maintain and set up spreadsheets and databases), & Word.
Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD 14 a plus.
Knowledge of construction industry practices and procedures a plus.

Associate's degree in business, construction technology, building science or related field is required.
Bachelor's degree is preferred.
