Northrop Grumman is looking to find multiple contractors that would work in Woburn, MA and Whippany, NJ for the next 6 months full time with the below Electrical Engineering and Electrical Technician skill sets. They would support us by being onsite at a subcontractor's facility (Herley) to complete testing of Hardware that is behind schedule and on the critical path for a large program run out of Baltimore, MD.
Candidate can either work from Woburn, MA or Whippany, NJ - please make sure it's specified.
Candidate must have the following experience:
Understanding and Troubleshooting DC/Digital/RF circuits and schematics up to 50GHz.
Operating RF test equipment such as PNAs, Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters.
Testing for Gain, Gain Variation, Two Tones, P1dB, Spurious for harmonics and mixing products, group delay and other phase measurements, linear and non-linear characteristics.
RF trace Tuning techniques.
Technical Management experience to guide technicians for tuning and test.
Microwave subassembly design and design techniques for RF circuitry up to 50GHz.
Knowledge on Up converters, Down converters, Dual Wideband converters, Synthesizers, Sources, switch matrixes.
DC Circuitry design for simple power circuits and digital circuits.
Manufacturing knowledge (cleanroom assembly, wire bondings, subassembly).
Test Engineering experience to help support testing instructions for technicians.
At least a high school degree.
